Fluralaner is a systemic insecticide and acaricide that is administered orally or topically.

Fluralaner inhibits γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA)-gated chloride channels (GABAA receptors) and L-glutamate-gated chloride channels (GluCls). Potency of fluralaner is comparable to fipronil.
