Introduction
Dorametin is a new generation macrolide antiparasitic drug. It is an avermectin antibiotic produced by fermentation of a new strain of Streptomyces avermitis with cyclohexamic acid as the precursor. It is considered to be one of the best antiparasitic drugs in the avermectin family.
The insect repellent effect of Doramectin is similar to Ivermectin, which can inhibit the transmission of nerve impulses between nerves and muscles, and make the insect paralyzed and die away from the host. However, due to the high blood concentration of doramectin in the body, the elimination is much slower, and the maintenance time of the efficacy is prolonged, so the insect repellent effect is better than Ivermectin.
